What you’ll be able to do

Prepare a checked podcast clip and publish it through your chosen TikTok route.

A podcast clip works best on its own: one clear point, understandable audio and readable words on screen. PodRescale makes short clips from an episode so you can choose and check the moment before sharing it.

1. Find a useful clip

Open the finished episode and choose Clips. Play a candidate all the way through. Make sure it starts with enough context and ends without losing the speaker's point.

Choose a clip for its meaning and clarity, then play the full result.

Video recordings can show the speakers. Audio-only episodes can produce audiograms. Check that the visual treatment suits the clip rather than assuming every episode produces the same result.

2. Check subtitles and the written caption

Read the subtitles inside the video, then check the written text that accompanies the TikTok post. Correct names and claims before sharing.

Editing the written caption does not re-render the video. If burned-in text is wrong, choose a different clip or correct the video in your own editor before publishing.

3. Connect TikTok or choose manual posting

Open Settings → Posting, choose Add channel and select TikTok. Follow the provider's connection and account-permission instructions. Check the account name and publishing mode when you return.

If a direct connection is not suitable, use a manual channel. Download the clip and upload it through TikTok yourself. Check the final crop and text in the platform preview.

4. Review and approve an automatic post

Choose the TikTok item in Review. Play the media, read the caption, verify the destination and check the publishing time. Approve it when ready and check Calendar for the scheduled item.

Automatic publishing still depends on an active connection and the platform accepting the media. If it fails, follow the message rather than repeatedly approving the same item.

What about music or platform effects?

Check and apply any platform-specific finishing touches in the publishing route you choose. Do not assume a downloaded podcast clip already includes music, effects or platform permissions that you have not added.
