Step-by-step guide
How to create and share quote cards from a podcast
Find podcast quote cards in PodRescale, check the wording and speaker credit, choose your visual style and download an image to share.
Choose a quote card, verify the quote and save the image for sharing.

Quote cards turn selected lines from an episode into images. They are useful when you want to share one clear idea without asking someone to watch a whole clip.
1. Open Quote cards
Open a finished episode and choose Quote cards. Look through the available images and select one that stands on its own.
2. Check the words and the speaker
Read the full quote and the name attached to it. Use the transcript to verify the wording and context. A card should not make a guest appear to endorse a claim they were questioning.
If a speaker is unnamed or incorrect, fix their identity using the speaker guide. Wait for any pending content updates and check the card again before downloading.
3. Choose the visual style
Open Settings → Look to set the brand colours and quote card template for your podcast. Preview the options and check that the text remains readable.
Set the look before creating your next episode's images. Do not assume an already-downloaded image will update after a settings change.
4. Download or review the associated post
Use the card's download action to save the image. Upload it to your chosen social platform and add a short caption that explains why the quote matters.
If a planned post already includes that card, open it in Review. Check the image, text, destination and publishing time before approving it.
What if the quote needs a correction?
Check the source first. Correct names through the speaker controls where appropriate. If the image still contains incorrect wording, choose another card or make a corrected graphic in your own editor. Editing the social post's text does not automatically rewrite an image file.
Can I reuse a quote card elsewhere?
You can download it and share it through your own tools. Check the crop and readability for each destination. Keep the correct speaker credit and make sure you have permission to reuse the episode's content.
