Choose a recording and you can play it immediately, before starting an upload. The preview shows its duration and, for video, its dimensions. Choose another file whenever you need to.
The preview stays on your device until you select Upload and process. Checking a file does not use an episode allowance.
See what happens next
For a video recording, your clips use the original footage with captions. For audio, clips use artwork, captions and a waveform. You choose clip formats after processing.
Recordings under a minute now explain that they will not produce clips; other episode content can still be created. PodRescale makes short clips rather than a full-length edited episode.
If your browser cannot preview a supported file, you can still upload it. The message makes that distinction clear, so an unavailable preview does not become a dead end.
