Is PodRescale a Descript alternative?
For the posts, yes; for editing, no. You can keep editing in Descript and use PodRescale for what comes after: posts, clips, quote cards and a newsletter from each published episode.
Does Descript post to LinkedIn?
Its site doesn’t list that. Descript publishes episodes to YouTube and podcast hosts, and its AI can draft a social post for you to copy. Checked October 2026.
Can I keep editing in Descript?
Yes. Publish the episode as usual. PodRescale picks it up from your RSS feed and writes the posts from it.
Which one costs less?
They do different jobs. Descript Hobbyist is $24 a month per person, or $16 billed yearly, for editing. PodRescale Solo is $29 a month billed yearly ($35 monthly) for 6 episodes, with the writing, clips, quote cards and posting included.
