Two good tools.
Different jobs.

OpusClip is built around video clips. PodRescale is built around a B2B podcast’s week: written posts first, clips alongside.

Where OpusClip shines

  • Clip finding at scaleAI clipping with a virality score and auto hooks, and prompt-to-clip on its Pro plan.
  • Serious video toolsAnimated captions in 20+ languages, reframing to 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9, B-roll, dubbing, and export to Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
  • A free plan60 credits a month free, with a watermark, and a Starter plan at $15 a month.

Where PodRescale is different

  • Written content, not just clipsLinkedIn posts, X threads, a newsletter, show notes and a blog article from every episode, alongside captioned shorts and quote cards.
  • Reads your podcast feedOn every PodRescale plan it watches your RSS feed and starts on each new episode. OpusClip’s auto import works from a verified YouTube account.
  • Written in your voiceIt learns your tone from posts you wrote yourself, and writes only from what was said on the episode.

What each one costs.

OpusClip prices by credits spent on video. PodRescale prices by episodes a month, with every content type included.

The two price differently, so compare what you would actually use in a month: episodes for PodRescale, the allowance each plan lists for the other tool.

When OpusClip
is the better pick.

It is a good tool. Here is when we would point you to it.

  • Video is the whole plan

If you publish on YouTube, TikTok and Reels and want many clips per episode, OpusClip’s clipping and editing tools go deeper.

  • You need a free tier

OpusClip has a free plan with 60 credits a month. PodRescale’s free offer is one full episode.

  • Your show lives on YouTube

Its auto import picks up new uploads from a verified YouTube account, with no RSS feed needed.

Your
questions.

Short answers. Anything else, ask me.

[email protected]
  • Is PodRescale an OpusClip alternative?

For podcasts that need written posts, yes. Both make captioned clips. PodRescale also writes LinkedIn posts, X threads, a newsletter, show notes and quote cards from each episode, and posts them.

  • Does OpusClip write LinkedIn posts?

Not that its site lists. Its pricing page lists clip titles, descriptions and hashtags. We could not find longer written formats. Checked September 2026.

  • Can I use both?

Yes. You could use OpusClip for high-volume video clips and PodRescale for the written week. PodRescale makes its own captioned shorts too, so try one episode and see if you need both.

  • Does PodRescale work from my podcast feed?

Yes. Add your show by name, Apple Podcasts link or RSS feed. On every plan it watches the feed and processes each new episode without an upload.

  • Which one costs less?

OpusClip, at the entry level. Its Starter plan is $15 a month for clips. PodRescale Solo is $29 a month billed yearly ($35 monthly) for 6 full episodes: posts, clips, a newsletter and scheduling.
