Take your episode subtitles with you.
Download timed SRT or WebVTT subtitles for your original recording, ready to use in a video editor or on YouTube.
Captions for your full recording
Your transcript can now travel with the original episode. Open Transcript, expand Download subtitles, and choose SRT subtitles or WebVTT subtitles.
Use the file with your full recording in a video editor, on YouTube, or in a player that supports that format. You can keep a separate subtitle track without burning captions into the video.
Timing that matches the source
Downloads use the original episode's timestamps and words. They do not apply the cuts from an adjusted or tightened clip. If you edit the recording after downloading, update the subtitle timing to match.
These are plain subtitle files. The caption styles you choose for rendered clips stay with those clips; they are not included in SRT or WebVTT.
Review the transcript and timing before publishing, especially for names and specialist terms.
