Get the name right before the clip goes out.

Correct names, spelling and punctuation in a clip’s subtitles, then render a replacement while keeping the original take and timing.

Choose a word, check its moment in the video and correct the spelling. Shown with a sample episode.

A small correction should be easy

Names, product terms and punctuation deserve a final check. Open Correct subtitles, choose a word in the timed transcript and type the correction. Selecting a word also moves the current video to that moment so you can listen again.

Choose Render corrected video when you are ready. Your existing video stays available while its replacement renders. Any other formats you already rendered update afterwards.

Keep the take you chose

The correction changes the words drawn in this clip’s video. Your spoken audio, word timing and saved cuts stay the same. Your written social caption and the full episode transcript remain separate.

You can reset a word to the original transcription. A failed render keeps your current video and preserves the requested corrections so you can try again.

Take the timed text too

The clip’s download dialog also offers SRT and WebVTT subtitle files. They follow the saved corrections and cuts, ready to accompany the clip in another tool.
