Subtitle files that follow your clip.

Download SRT or WebVTT timed to the clip, including saved word corrections and cuts.

Video formats and separate subtitle files, together in the clip’s download dialog. Sample episode shown.

Start with the clip’s own timeline

Open Download from Clip settings and expand Subtitle files for this clip. Choose SRT or WebVTT for a plain timed text file that starts on the clip’s timeline.

Saved word corrections travel with it. If a pause was shortened or a filler removed, the subtitle timing follows the same saved cuts as the rendered video. While a replacement renders, downloads continue to describe the current video.

Pick the right file for your next step

Use clip subtitles when you are working with the exported clip. For your original recording, use episode subtitle downloads from the Transcript tab.

These files contain timed text. Caption colours, emphasis and animation stay in the rendered video. The MP4 already has captions drawn into it; downloading SRT or WebVTT does not remove them.
