Fans, traffic and laptop hiss can get between your listener and a good point. Voice cleanup reduces background noise in the speech used by your clips, audiograms and episode player.
In Settings → Audio, choose Auto, Always or Off, and set the strength to Light, Standard or Strong. Auto is the recommended starting point: it cleans only when needed and keeps the result only when it clearly improves the recording.
Listen, compare, choose
On an episode’s Voice audio card, switch between Original and Cleaned in the same player. You can return the episode to its original audio, or change the audio choice for an individual clip in Review.
Your original upload stays intact, transcripts use the original recording, and music is kept as it is. Cleanup doesn’t rewrite your published episode or RSS feed.
For uploaded episodes, you can also enable a cleaned, levelled MP3 to download when a cleaned copy is available.
